With market saturation, mass layoffs, bloated production budgets, and mandatory, cursed crunch as the norm, most junior developers, designers, engineers, and artists entering the industry today don’t do so with much optimism.

Within this harsh environment, FOOL’S ERRAND GAMES makes it our mission to provide support and resources to those up-and-coming professionals.

WHO
WE ARE

We are a team, focused in Austin, TX, that offers lite Publishing Services to student and independent game developers local to the Austin area. Founded by graduates of the Austin Community College (ACC) Game Development, Animation, and Motion Graphics program, our team is familiar with the challenges faced by those trying to transition into the game design industry. We maintain a relationship with ACC’s administration to offer outgoing students a helping hand to continue through graduation and and into independent work.

For up-and-coming game studios, our offerings include:

  • INCORPORATION ADVICE
    Consult on how to incorporate your studio into a business entity in the State of Texas. Learn about your options for monetizing your projects, and gain access to forms and document templates that will guide you through every step of the process.

  • PRODUCTION SUPPORT
    Partner with our team to transition a game project into your new studio, or onboard a new project. We will help organize your milestone development and drive your project forward.

  • MARKETING SERVICES
    Let us help promote your project on social media and other events where we maintain a presence. Get the word out and help generate buzz ahead of your game’s launch.

  • DISTRIBUTION
    Get your project listed on Steam. We’ll handle the set-up and configuration so that you can stay focused on what matters: making your game.
